### WHY YEDID L'BODED?

#### Every year, idealistic young Jews from across the globe leave everything familiar—family, language and culture— to serve the Jewish people in Israel.

#### Whether as Lone Soldiers in the IDF or Lone Bnot Sheirut doing volunteer national service, these young men and women voluntarily take on some of Israel’s toughest responsibilities.

# But while they protect Israel--who protects them?

### Far from home and family, these volunteers face a silent battle:

## Emotional isolation, cultural disconnection, and rising mental health struggles.
